Holdrege City Auditorium, 421 Grant, St. – The auditorium is located conveniently in downtown Holdrege. This historic building has lots of old-school charm with its wooden gym floors and high ceilings. Rental fees may be paid for chairs and tables to be set up. Call (308) 995-8681 for reservations.
Phelps County Ag Center, 1308 2nd
St, Holdrege – This is the
county’s largest event venue and can hold crowds of more than 500 guests. A
full kitchen is available, and wedding parties can hire their own caterers. The
Ag Society’s middle room is a good space for meetings or events of about 100
people, while the education room can be rented for smaller events or meetings. Call

Rodeway Inn, 420 Broadway, Holdrege – This hotel conference room is convenient for business meetings, conferences or events of up to 120 people. The room features a partial kitchen with a refrigerator, sink and counter space. It is located inside the Rodeway Inn, which has amenities such as an indoor swimming pool, arcade games and an exercise room. Call (308) 995-2793 to reserve this space.
Holdrege Sun Theater & Event Venue, 421 West Ave., Holdrege – This event space and theater is perfect for medium to large receptions and celebrations. The front lobby can be reserved for smaller more intimate events for 40-60 people and features exposed brick and a large-screen television for presentations. The entire theater area can be rented for larger events of up to 160 people and includes the use of the large screen for movies, videos or presentations. The theater is also licensed for alcohol sales, and of course, movie theater popcorn can also add a special touch to your event. Holdrege Country Club, 314 W. 18th Ave. – This event space overlooks the beautiful 18-hole Holdrege golf course. The space can comfortably seat 220 guests. Bridal parties can cater food in and may use the club’s kitchen space for food prep. Call (308) 995-5744 for reservations.
The Balcony, 10775 Clifton St., Loomis – This event venue in Loomis is a medium-sized space that includes both a main floor area and upper-level seating for an intimate experience. Call (308) 876-5340 for details.
Funk School Community Center, 301 Main St., Funk – This former school building has been renovated into an attractive event space. It has lots of charm and character with its classic gym and brick exterior and is the perfect setting for a rustic wedding theme. The gym can comfortably seat 200 people, while the community room is for smaller crowds of up to 75 people. A commercial kitchen is available at the FSCC. Call (308) 991-2198 for reservations.
The Tassel Performing Arts Center, 1324 Tilden, Holdrege. The Tassel is available to rent for corporate trainings, meetings, conferences, workshops, weddings, product introductions, special performances, holiday celebrations, private parties, and other events. Bertrand Community Building, 405 Nelson, Bertrand. The Community Building in Bertrand is another great venue for a medium-sized wedding party. Gardens on Q, 74192 Q Road, Holdrege. Located 10 miles north of Holdrege, this country property is a beautiful location for an outdoor wedding and/or reception or other special events. The charm and character of the elaborate grounds make the location truly exceptional. The property includes rural views, gorgeous gardens and a late 1800s Victorian-style home surrounded by fields of grain, grazing cattle and a rustic barn. The Nebraska Prairie Museum, 2701 Burlington St., Holdrege, has an event space nestled among the antique treasures of the museum. The space is perfect for family or class reunions or events of between 80-130 people. A kitchen/serving area sits near the event space making it easy to serve desserts or meals. The Scandinavian Immanuel Lutheran Church at the museum can also be rented for weddings, baptisms or general gatherings. The church’s main sanctuary will fit 50 people. The small gathering space behind the sanctuary will is nice for small meetings or Bible studies.
